Modjoule strengthens its leadership team with the appointment of Gareth Coates as Engineering Technical Director.
Gareth will lead product development as we advance our next generation of power systems for transport refrigeration toward commercialization, a pivotal role in bringing Modjoule’s technology to the global cold chain.
With 17+ years of experience designing power systems, Gareth brings deep technical expertise alongside extensive experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. His career has been spent at the cutting edge of power and energy innovation, most recently as Head of Power Generation Systems at ZeroAvia, one of the world’s leading zero-emission aviation technology companies.
Gareth combines the technical depth to solve demanding engineering challenges with the leadership to guide complex product development. That combination is essential to our next chapter: turning successful prototypes into dependable, commercially ready products.
His appointment marks a significant step in Modjoule’s transition from technology validation toward commercial deployment. As we prepare for customer demonstrations and field trials, Gareth will lead the engineering effort to deliver the performance, reliability, and practical integration our customers need.
